Most people are familiar with a model where professors and other experts lecture about their subject, but the world of instructional design offers a wide variety of methods for pairing proven learning strategies with robust content to create engaging learning experiences.
This course will provide a high-level overview of instructional design, from the purpose and function of a non-subject-matter-expert instructional designer on a team, to the learning theories and design methods used to design instruction, to the technology used to develop and deliver synchronous and asynchronous training to various audiences.
