Limitations and alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of Agate Publishing Academy , there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Known limitations for Agate Publishing Academy:

  1. Alt text for photos within the courses: Uploaded images may not have text alternatives because The software we use to build the course does not allow us to upload text alternatives to images within a course. Decorative images do not currently have alt text indicating them as such. We're working closely with our software providers to integrate this into future editions. In places where images convey substantive material, a caption with the salient information has been provided in proximity to the image. Please contact us if you encounter an issue.
  2. Contrast in our logo colors: The contrast of our white and orange logo colors falls just short of recommended standards. We are workshopping a solution that allows us to retain our brand identity while maintaining accessibility standards.
